What's going on...if anything?

A totally experimental photo taken near Bank Station delving into the world of  city workers. Just a single person in silhouette walking on an elevated walk way shooting upwards through glass with complex reflections. You can just make out the reflection of a large office building in the foreground which adds to the complex layering. It all looks and sounds great , but is it any good, or is to just a confused mess with some Fine Art Street Photography pretensions?

My Rating:

It takes a while to unravel this photo. Is that a good thing?  If this was on Instagram would it stop you scrolling? It does have some depth but is it deep? There is a story or theme here which holds it together. Is the small single silhouette of sufficient size to hold the picture together. It's certainly saying something about the modern world we have created and how we are like ants in it?

We have evidence of some plants in an otherwise totally urbanesque scene. It's a minimal look photo, but then again it is quite complex. I don't know, it looks nice, very Fine Art, it has a message of sorts, but beyond that it just seems to lack some clout in some shape or form.

You could see it hanging in an art gallery, but they wouldn't accept this, technically it is quite clever but for me and an arty gallery type, it doesn't affect you on say any emotional level??

I rate this as a 7/10. I don't know how this could be improved, but it needs that certain indefinable something to take it from a nice looking and technically clever photo to something that affects you on a more human and emotional level. Others may disagree and think this is a master piece.
