Street Cleaner: Behind the Photo No1

This was taken underneath Vauxhall Station in London which is a superb place for Street Photography especially Fine Art Street when you are looking for high contrast in your urban shots.

If you get your exposure on the money in camera great, although it still can be achieved in post.

I just love taking a challenging lighting situation mixed with a mundane street scene such as a cleaner jet washing a path and turning it into an arty shot that would look good hanging in a major art gallery? We have silhouettes, reflections extreme lighting, depth and plenty of urban stuff going.

Maybe not that good ...... but pretty good none the less. It looks nice but beyond the stunning high contrast look, it just seems to be lacking something.  It has a story but beyond that, it just lacks a bit of depth somewhere. One of those photos you can't put your finger on what is lacking....but it's just lacking something???

My rating. A solid 7/10. Will get likes on Insta but beyond that it has question marks. Your rating may vary??
